hey ya'll!!!

i am so so so sorry i have disappeared the past few weeks!!!
we've moved, ive started couch to 5k, i live closer to work now so i feel like ive been there a lot more (well and im working everyday till we go away july 3rd! haha), and now that we've moved closer to work (5mins) and i actually have a social life now because i can actually accept invites bc we dont live 40 mins away anymore! ! . hahaha

ive been feeling so bad, ive missed ya'll and the board the past few weeks :) i hope everybody is doing well!!!!

so im on week 3 of couch to 5k! im absolutely loving it. has anybody ever done the program before?
tomorrow is week 3 of 9 day 2. ive never been a runner in my whole entire life and this is helping me out tremendously! i can actually run for 3 minutes straight! im doing it all outdoors, and i find it to be alot better then trying to run on the treadmill!
ive gained about 3 pounds in the last 3 weeks since ive started this. my arms are looking more defined then they did at the start. which is flippen awesome! my bat wings are waving bye bye! i guess its running and moving my arms yadda yadda. so the inches are coming off a little just not weight.
does anybody have any dietery suggestions since im doing more hardcore cardio then my bodys used to?

im starting to feel i shoulda made this into a blog entry, sorry! haha

love u all!!!

I haven't personally done the couch to 5K but I used similar training methods and know people who've had great success with it.  Good luck with it, you'll do great.  I did notice when I started to run that my muscles felt more lean and defined.   There's really nothing like getting outside and going for a run/jog/walk.

I work out about 8-10 hours a week with my personal workouts and teaching group classes.  The thing that I noticed is that I do get hungry more often just because I average about 500-600 burned calories a day.  You may already do this but it helps me to do the whole mini-meal thing every few hours...high protein helps or carb with protein.  I hadn't been using protein shakes recently but I've gotten back into it to use as an after workout supplement.  I just throw the EAS low carb pre made ones in my gym bag and go.  I usually have breakfast around 7:30am, workout ends around 10am, then I'll have one before lunch.  I'm going to experiment switching the shake from immediately post workout to around 3pm and see if that will stave of my afternoon munchies.

Glad to hear you are back and still working hard!!

Glad to see you back for a few days! I cannot wait to say that I'm a runner... a half marathon is one of my long-term goals. I'm excited to hear how you like the couch to 5k program.
