Newbie - tons of questions!!!
**I am 27, and have about 100lbs to lose total... I have no idea how much excess skin will be left when I'm done! I can't find reliable info on how being in our 20's changes our skin- is anyone willing to talk about what will realistically be there?
BTW... I'ma compulsive information junkie. I always want to know "why" like a five year old ;) Sorry if I end up annoying anyone!
I wouldnt trade it for anything in the world... Id much rather have the body I have now then have continued on the path I was before... its definately something hard to accept because you work so hard to lose the weight then have to deal with the flub but its a trade off for being healthy and happy.
I suggest to all newbies to start saving for PS now, save as much as you can then decide later what you want to do... being younger I feel its more important to us then somebody who has 10, 20 years on us... especially if youve never really been thin... just want to be like everybody else!

It varies by each person. Each persons skin reacts different. Some are more likely to rebound aothers not so much. A good way to tell is do you scar easily or get stretch marks easy. This usually means your skin won't rebound so well. This is a good indicator but not true for everyone.
My face, neck shoulders, and legs all rebounded nicely, but the mid section, where I carried the weight the most, shrunk some but still required some help. To the tune of 9.8lbs of skin that came off and I honestly need a little taken from the mid back section, but have found no real reason to do it at the time being. I had 180lbs to lose though also.
Hope this helps a little
