so, since last week i have only lost 2 lbs.  i had surgery on 6/2 and went from 267 (day of surgery) to 246 today .... is it normal to stall like this or plateau so quickly?  any advice?  been trying to excercise but it's kinda hard with a yeast infection and fever!  yuck!  sure all of you just wanted to know that .... haha ... they say it's common from all the antibiotics in the hospital .... anyone else had these same expereinces?  also ... healing drain site looks nasty, crusty, yellowish .... normal?

LOL, I think at your stage we all freaked out about the outcome or what should or shouldn't be happening. I am here to tell you that your body is going to do what it wantsbut you WILL lose. Some weeks you might not lose any weight and the next week you lose 10lbs. Don't stress yourself out, just do what your supposed to do. I work out sporadically, meaning some weeks I work out 4-5 times a week and some weeks not a all. I'm 7 months out and down 104 lbs. Its definitely not becauseof the work outs. Some people that had surgery dates around mine may have lost more or less than I have, but one thing is for sure, their bodies did what they did. Smile and be Merry... YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY! enjoy the ride!

Girl, take it easy, don't be too hard on yourself. Listen to your body, if you got a fever...rest, get your flulids in. I stalled at 3 weeks, but it quickly passed! Stay with the plan and the plan will work for you. My drain site did the same thing, it even got a little pink, felt sure it was getting infected but it didn't. Take Care of You! (Hugs)

This is kinda late but just wanted to say that its totally normal to stall at about 4 weeks, again at 3 months usually. My advise dont just weigh yourself, measure yourself....you'll be surprised at the inches you lose when u arent losing any weight, its a great way to not get discouraged! measure ur neck, arms, legs, waist, bust...lol anywhere u hope to lose weight from and even the places u wouldnt think of like wrists and ankles...you'll be sooo surprised by the amount of inches you'll lose on this journey! AND as much as u may hate it...TAKE PICTURES! i took them every month. Its true when people say that it takes your mind longer to catch up with ur body, you may not see the difference in the mirror, but believe me, pictures do NOT lie!
Good luck =)
