Just venting

I've been waiting for like 2 weeks to make my MD clearance appointment. I finally talked to someone today & they're waiting to get a form back from my psychiatrist. They faxed the form to her on JUNE 3rd (almost 2 weeks ago!!) and they haven't recieved anything from her yet. I called my psych's office & spoke to the (rude) lady at the front desk. She told me to have them fax the paper over again because she didn't know where it was!! Now, I'm not HIPAA expert, but isn't it a little bit of a violation for paperwork to just get 'lost', especially if it has my information on it? Well, the front desk ***** transferred me to my psych's voicemail, I left a message explaining the situation to her & I haven't recieved a call back yet. I'm trying to be patient, but this is urking the hell out of me. I'm working my ass off to make this transition go smoothly & nobody wants to help me when I hit a bump in the road. If I don't hear from the psych tomorrow, I'm going in there & I'm not leaving until I have the paper I need in hand.

it can be a frusturating long process but just remember everything is in GODS TIMING! 

go to the offices and pick up everything urself cus they will bs so bad or it jus seems that way to us but go stalk all the offices

Yeah - I request a copy of everything they "say" they faxed. That way if it comes up "missing" I have a copy and send it myself. Remember, try to gain as much control on the information flow as possible. Document document document! Dates/phone calls/names. People are flooded with requests which is no excuse to lose your documents but you have to remember behind and before you are hundreds of people in the same situation.

Go get em' and expect no less than the outcomes that you want.
