A DATE
I've got a date WOOHOOO!
The short story: I'll be cut open May 26
The longer story: It felt like forever getting here, having to wait to schedule until blood tests came back, scheduling a UGI and waiting on that! Finally I got the call that I could go ahead and schedule. My sister and i are both doing this, and I had known from talking with the office before that the 19th and 26th had been open. Now only the 26th of May remained, so being self-sacrificing I was going to let my sister have that date. Come to find out, the next date was June 23rd! I was SO bummed. But, okay. She was going to check and see if the surgeon could schedule one more for the 19th. I didn't hold my breath.
WELL, she called back and told me that no, he wouldn't schedule another on the 19th. However, he would schedule both of us on the 26th together! This is IDEAL. Now my mom can play nursemaid to us both at once.
I am super happy. At the same time, my mind is already accumulating all the foods I need to eat! Bad Bonnie.
