Tattoos

Hey everyone!

So for a long time I've been wanting a tattoo on my left wrist that says "Forever"  It has multiple meanings, one is this life change that I'm going thru and the other is a saying between my husband and I... I'm only about 2 months out and was wondering how much your wrists really shrink and if I should keep waiting to get it.  They have gone down about 1/4 of an inch but I never really had big arms/wrists so I'm not sure if I got the tattoo now if it'd look bad in a few months because of the weight loss or do you think it wouldn't be that big of a deal.  It's not like I'm getting a sleeve done on my arm, just a small area and was curious... opinions?

I love seeing tatts - show off yours!

I would wait till i lose almost all the weight. or part of it.  i dont think ur wrist will shrink a lot. n u can give it a WLS meaning to the tatoo also.   but just in case i would wait.

I would go for it! I dont think your wrist shrinking is going to make a huge difference. I got my first tattoo on my lower back when I was 170 pounds, I went up to 230 when I was pregnant, then lost my prego weight and gained AGAIN! lol. Mine still looks fine! It can be a reward for how far you've come!

Heres my tattoo today, I think it still looks good!

I am VERY tattoed.  All of my tattoos have actually gotten more vibrant since losing 95 lbs.  Check out my before and after pics you can see at my top weight they look kinda light and washed out.  The tatoos directly on my wrist have not changes shape or blurred at all.  I think with a script tattoo you'll be fine.   Just be careful... they're addicting!

I have about 75 hours worth of ink all over various parts of my body.  closest thing to the wrist, i have is my forearm...that tattoo hasnt changed. which, my forearms were never really "big" in my opinion...i mean i lost about 3 inches around, but it didnt effect the tattoo.

the only ones I have that were affected was the ones close to my colarbones...because that area thinned out A LOT the tattoos have moved down a bit. not really noticable to anyone else....i can tell cause i see them all the time.

honestly, i wouldnt worry about it...unless you change your mind and plan on getting it somewhere you are reallly heavy that will drop to tiny...(belly, butt, thighs....etc)

I even have my shoulders and caps done, (tops of arms) and even with my "bat wings" my tattoos remained just as beautiful as the day i got them!!

GOOD LUCK!!

I have two very large tattoos, one on each shoulder/arm. The both still look the same.  If they are blured at all its because they are due for a touchup as I got them back in 2000 and 2003.

Finally got the picture to post after 16 edits, lol.

This is my only tattoo, though it's pretty large. It's on my calf which has always been muscular and 40-ish lbs later it still looks the same.

I say go for it on your wrist, I don't think you need to wait.
