one week til surgery!!!!!!!!
YAY!!! girl i got like a million things that i thought i would need, but i honestly didnt need much while i was at the hospital.
i packed an ipod. ipod speakers, books, magazines, etc.. i didnt use any of them i was asleep the whole time!! lol too much morphine haha.
what i def used was
- toothbrush
-hairbrush
-wet wipes
-pads lol (i know it sucked)
-my moomy!!! Ur gonna need someone with u to help you out.
-small pillow, this very useful. u can pu**** agains ur tummy when you move or cough, so it wont hurt too much.
- a dress or lose clothes to leave the hospital.
- nightgown to walk around the hospital.
-slippers
about what ur able to eat. at the hospital they are gona give you some chicken broad or something like that and powerade or something with electrolites to keep u hydratated
at home.. ur pain meds. and someone to help you around. ull be fine like cookin and stuff, but u cant be alone if something happens. so u need to be careful altho ur feeling good.
oh yeah and be ready to notice all the food advertising in the TV. lol. and maybe some dreams about eating lol. don`t worry it way easier than it seams!

Congratulation to ya! My surgery is two days before yours. Yesterday I packed my bags for the hospital and my mom's house ( I'll be there 1 week post-op), here are some things that I packed. Also, good ideas from the poster above I will be taking a small pillow and some wet wipes!
hospital stay
-loose fitting pajamas (to wear home, actually I will be wearing these to the the hospital as well)
-Slippers with grips on the bottom
-Hair brush
-Toothbrush
-body wash (i don't like to use regular soap)
-Lotion
-Chapstick
-Pads (just in case)
-The breathing thingy they gave me
-small wallet for my driver's license and insurance card only
