HeLP- totally bummed out!
I had RNY 4 weeks ago today, and every week I had been losing weight consistently. I was down 18 pounds, and today when I did my weekly weigh-in I was devestated to learn that I had gained 2 pounds!! Has this happened to anyone else??? I know I need to stop weighing myself every week, but I was just so excited, this feels like a major set back.
Don't worry, it's totally normal!! You will find out through out your weight loss that you will lose a bunch then maybe gain a pound or two. If you are following your surgeon plan, you can't go wrong.
18lbs in 4 weeks is amazing!! Think about how long it took you before to lose that much weight. Always remember the little things and remember how far you've come.
Good luck!!

I had my surgery 4 weeks ago the 19th. And I was having the same problem till this morning. I weighed 232 then went down to 229 then back to 232 so i stayed away from the scale for over a week and now down to 226. So I was happy that scale moved down!! I know it sucks when it doesnt move or it moves in the wrong way. But the stall gives way and you begin to feel much better!
