LBL tomorrow- so nervous!!!
My lower body lift is tomorrow- and I am SO nervous! I'm having it done with my original gastric bypass RNY surgeon in Colombia. He's really wonderful and I've seen his plastic surgery work, so I have every confidence in him. But people keep telling me how much it's gonna hurt and how I'm going to spend 2 weeks in bed, etc.. it makes me really nervous. I am such a baby sometimes when it comes to pain, and I think the anticipation of pain is even worse. I'm having the LBL done for my thighs mostly (my stomach doesnt have too much loose skin but my thighs are disfigured after losing 100lbs and being a pear shape) along with what they're calling "smart lipo"- which is kind of lipo but that helps to shape/contour your body. I have a good shape already, but there's definitely some fat that needs to get rid of.
I'm also going to be having an arm lift and breast augmentation probably next week. I know it's kinda terrible and against everything we know as Americans, but for timeliness issues I'm getting these done back-to-back. I've also heard that BA hurts a ton, since it's under the muscle/etc...
Just feeling really nervous about all the supposed pain I'm going to feel for the next two weeks- and then leaving the comfort of my friend's house to fly back home on May 1st (2 weeks after LBL and 1 week after arm lift/breast aug). Oh boy, just nervous...
My gastric bypass, I remember being in pain when I woke up and the next day, until the gas subsided. I remember thinking I'd never come back and do anything else- and now I'm here. My gastric had ended up being on like a Tuesday and I flew home on Friday, feeling fine. But just nervous about all of these other things... Well, excited about what the future holds and what my body will look like- but also nervous about pain for the next 2 weeks!
