Protein drinks
i'm pretty sure both are fairly high on sugar, so depending on what type of surgery you have you may dump on them.
as for finding protein shakes i like, i went on vitalady and ordered like $40 worth of samples, and have been going through them, trying different ones and saving the labels of the ones i've liked so i know what i want to try again/buy a whole thing of. so far i'm leaning towards chocolate and peanut butter ones, and honestly, i've liked most of the ones i've tried. it really is different for everyone.

Do the special K protein drinks not have enough protein? Cause thats what I'm supposed to drink for my pr-op diet, either that or slim fast high protein.... i figured they would be good for after as well? So far, I really like Believe brand RTD protein (all the flavors are good), because they taste just like the Starbucks Fraps in the glass bottle. I also love the Extreme Smoothie RTD as well. I get both of them from bariatriceating.com
I am just now venturing out and trying powdered protein because I thought they all tasted terrible right after my surgery. Now my taste has settled back down and I can tolerate a lot more.
