more frequent periods since wls

Hi everyone,
     For the last 2 months (im almost 6 months out and im 88 lbs thinner) ..ive had my period twice in one month...i'd have it one week and then 2 weeks later have it again for another week.. I assume since its due to the rapid weight lost.. im calling my ob/gyn anyways..but has anyone else had a similar experience.. im on birth control so it should be normal every 28 days but is like every 14 for the last 2 months..


hopefully someone else has expereinced this and can offer some advice.. take care everyone!!

 I'm currently on Depo. I didn't have a period at all for the first 5 months after surgery and then it was ridiculously weird for the past 5 months or so. I was coming and going and random times, then it stopped when I took my shot, then 4 weeks later it started again and now it comes and goes every week or two. I'm actually headed to my ob/gyn tomorrow to try a medication change and see if that helps but who knows what's going on... I'm sure its something to do with the changes resulting from WLS, but its definitely weird! 

 I have an IUD and I had a couple of periods immediately after surgery, which is weird for me because i never have them. 

This is because of hormone changes and it's normal.

Mine aren't more frequent but they are heavier and crampier - it sux esp. since I can't take motrin :(

Dude this is so me! I just restarted my birth control last month and I started a period after my first week of active pills. WTF. Same thing this month too. Seriously, two periods a month... not cool. I am wondering if it is because I'm not absorbing the pill as well. I think I'm going to try and switch to the ring or the patch.
