snacks!
Not really high protein but I'm concentrating on my vegetable/fruit intake. I've not been doing well on that, so I'm trying to do better...maybe not the recommended 9 servings a day (holy crap, I don't think that's possible for any of us) but I try to get around 4 or 5ish a day. Half of a well chewed apple keeps me quite full for a while. Sometimes I'll throw some peanut butter on it.
If you are familiar with Flat Out wraps, they have a new cracker thing in Rosemary Herb (or something like that) that is whole grain and has like 6 grams of protein per serving. Not bad if you are craving salty or crunchy.
Most of the time I'll grab some deli ham or turkey and squirt some spicy mustard on it or make a home made sugar free latte.
P.S. Your new picture looks great!

hey,
thanks for the compliment on the pic! <3
i actually tried flat out wraps a while ago and we put some cheese on them and some red gravy with some riccotta and made mini pizzas! i couldnt eat much of it, but it was really nommy!
ill have to look for them again at walmart :)
i never knew we needed 9 servings! bouncing from 1 nut to another doesnt help i guess. haha but ive always loved both fruits and vegs, i guess im going to count the next few days to see what i do.
mmm btw i LOVE peanut butter :) natural jiff pb is my bff, but i havent had it in a while cause i had a random dumping episode at work one day from it which was odd from a little teaspoon..
hope your days fabulous!!!

I have a love/hate relationship with Jif Natural. I love it because it's awesome, I hate it because I actually measured out a serving and I was way way way off....apparently my tablespoon is a little more generous than an actual tablespoon. :0)
The Flat outs are great, I use them for pizzas and anything sandwichy. The one I was talking about is by Flat Out but it's a cracker.
I created (or ripped off, not sure) the best apple salad that I eat all the time, in small quantities, but it's very good.
2 apples chopped (I use pink lady)
1 carrot, grated
1 container of greek yogurt
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1T splenda
Splash of lemon juice
and if you can tolerate them
2T raisins
2T chopped walnuts or sunflower seeds
Mix and eat. It lasts awhile, which is good because a little goes a long way. I will grab a tablespoon or two if I'm feeling hungry between meals and it keeps me going.
