Frustrated...
Hey All,
Just looking for some guidance..I am super frustrated..I'm about 2 1/2 weeks in from RNY surgery and I am so frustrated. At my first week appointment i had lost 26 lbs! However 2 1/2 weeks in im still at the EXACT same weight :(..I know the first week I only lost so much because I was drinking liquids only, but it is still bumming me out!
My only other frustration is I am having trouble eating pretty much anything..I keep getting chest pains that feel like a heart attack! Is any one else having this issue? I am never hungry and when I force myself to eat, this is what I get! Any suggestions ? Help!
Also random question, how do I update my ticker to show my progress? I tried to make one but It has no where to let me update to show my progress!

First, congrats on your weight loss! 26lbs is awesome and you are doing great.
There is no right or wrong pace for weight to come off. There are so many factors that it's probably impossible to know how much and when you will lose. Some weeks you'll lose a lot, others maybe nothing at all. The important thing is to be consistent with your surgeons instructions. Also, at 2 1/2 weeks, your body is still recovering from a major surgery so no weight loss is fine because your body is also trying to heal itself...it can multi task but it can only handle so much at once.
Also, at 2 1/2 weeks you will have trouble eating everything. It's frustrating and awful. Just keep trying little sips at a time and stop before you get chest pains. You won't be hungry, but eat some anyway. Always be drinking sips of water between meals.
Good luck!

hey girl,
by the time you know it itll be a year later :) dont get frustrated its all worth it in the end :) it goes by so fast!
remember, small bites, and chew like crazy! and when you sip small sips wont hurt. :)
in between bites put your fork down while you chew, it helps you take your time while eating.
i ate with small baby spoons, it helped me learn portion sizes and w/ that heavy chest feeling.
oh and try tickerfactory.com for your ticker :)
