So two days ago I took a friend to Starbucks that was visiting. I have never been a coffee drinker, but after surgery I tried the Protein that had coffee in it and I though hmmm maybe I like cold coffee not hot.

I got a small carmel frapp, and thought well I will just drink a little bit and give the rest to  my husband. The only problem is I drank the whole thing, I didn't get sick at all. So you know now I am in trouble!!

Went home and looked up the nutritional info I was so mad at myself. I didn't eat dinner that night, but the carbs was still too much.

I am so scared now that I broke the seal and will want to eat more stuff I shouldn't since I didnt get sick.

 Relax. and its not about the dumping. i dont get sick either. its about good choises!! iknow i wish i dumped bad so i wont be tempted to eat canddy, but thats not the point!! its about making good chooises n be aware of what you want and what your body needs.  you´ll be fine one caramel frappé its not the end of the world. just be careful
if you liked it you can try other better and healthier chooises, that's why  i love starbucks! 
you can try the iced latte they are amazing n they have it in diferent flavors.
vanilla skinny latte with sf syrup is sooo good! you can also  have a light frapuchino, it has 90 cal. but a lil to high in carb but it worth it.

I second Mariana, you aren't going to gain all your weight back by one slip up.  I don't dump all the time on sugar either (it's actually very werid things I dump on, like cereal and not all the time) but we have to just make good choices to begin with and not take that as a free pass to try other sugary foods.  Please don't be hard on yourself.

None of us are perfect and realisticly we will eat some sugary foods in our life but we just need to learn that it's only an occasional treat, not an every day thing.  If we are really aware of our food and get in our exercise, then all will be well.

Thanks guys for your support. It has been eating at me but I am trying to let it go. I think it is just that now I know I have to keep up the fight, eat right and exercise.  I miss Jelly Beans!! LOL

Just have to take it one day at a time...good luck to you both.

em and mariana made good suggestions :) drink the light caramel next time, its half splenda half reg sugar, nonfat milk and 60% less fat then the regular frappuccino!!

the skinny lattes are good also! (for some reason they make me dump since i got my gall bladder out. so weird!) but people love them! and a talls only 90 calories!!
