Whoa...I think I just got full!

I had been panicking since starting my full liquid diet the day after surgery 10 days ago. I had not felt the "full" feeling whatsoever. I really had an honest-to-goodness real fear that I was going to be the only person on planet earth who this surgery would not work for.

But...this morning I had my lovely 2 oz of protein shake and guess what? I felt full! Not like stuffed or anything, but actually a little full. Thank you God! Maybe the nerves are starting to heal in there? Anyway, I'm just glad that everything's starting to come together!

I had the opposite issue.. I never feel hungry and have to force myself to eat... So funny how we are all different even though we have had the same surgery!  I am glad you are doing so well my friend!  Do you have your 2 week post op this coming week?  Take care Corey..XOXOXOXO

Hi Trish :) Its weird, I don't feel hungry either. Just never full. My lunch filled me up again so maybe this is the start of something good! :)
My post op visit is on Friday! My incisions look gross, so I'm a little nervous what they might say.

Are you coming to town on Friday with your family?  What time is your appointment?  If you are available after I get home from work (2:30) I would love to see you just to touch base and compare notes.. if not that is ok too!   My last incision that I had trouble with is finally showing signs of healing.. thank God!  He gave me a liquid antibiotic and it was so gross it made me REALLY sick to my little tummy so I stopped taking it but I am sure it will heal on it's own anyway!  Well you have my number so you can either call or Text me anytime..

Corey,

I HAVE to tell you that I still feel like I will be the only person in this ENTIRE world that our tool will not work for!  lol... EVEN after I have lost 60+ pounds, I keep thinking to my self that its not gonna work for me, I AM the exception!  lol...  I think its just a brain thing!  I can tell you that since my surgery, I have my good pouch days and my bad pouch days!!!  SOME days I feel like I could eat everything I can get my hands on, and others I feel like I am eating nothing at all!!!  lol  It must be a pouch thing!!!

XOXO,
Jess

Well I think because I have been on a stall for almost 3 weeks, and I haven't lost a SINGLE freaking pound with in the past 3 weeks!  My dr keeps saying that its normal, but I am UBBER frustrated, and can't help but think, what if I don't lose any more?  Is this IT?  I went through all this to only get 1/2 way to goal!!!  UGH!!!  But I have a PLAN!!!  I ordered an elliptical online a few weeks ago, and should be here tomorrow!  I am so excited about it!  and I am planning on purchasing some weights, and maybe a strength training dvd, so I can do it all from home and not have to get a sitter to go to the gym!  I will just have my own home gym!  This way I can exerise after my little one is asleep, or before she gets up in the morning!  :-)

Okay more information than you wanted huh?  lol

Have a good one,
Jess

I hit a small stall around 3 months. Increasing exercise and protein were the keys to breaking my stall. That's not really working for my current stall now though. My scale hasn't moved in like over a month.
You are doing amazing- your loss is almost as much as mine, and I'm 6 months out!
You are going to do it. You will hit your goal! Keep working your tool momma!

Thank you for posting this.  I was beginning to wonder if I was strange with not feeling full or hungry.   I am currently 10 days post-op and this a question I was having.
