shortness of breath

 Hi,
I am  over 2 and a half years post op RNY. I had a child post op as well. Anyways, I have been experiencing shortness of breath and that "trapped air" feeling after a few bites of food. I have a lot of belching too. I am not sure what this could be. I have had it for a few weeks. It started after I had an endoscopy for a suspected ulcer. I didn't have an ulcer but now everytime i eat for hours and hours afterwords I have this trapped air feeling like i need to belch and i do keep belching but it doesn't take the feeling away. I have tried lots of tums, lots of maalox, liquid smithcone drops. NO luck. Any ideas as to what this could be? 

 No idea....

I'd put a call in to your surgeon.  Shortness of breath is not something I'd ignore.

Shortness of breath could be iron deficiency, but I don't know about the trapped air feeling.
