Anybody ever had a tummy firming treatment?
I was talking to a lady that lives in my home town, that owns a spa, and she was telling me about these tummy firming treatments that they started doing about 6 months ago!!! That the people who have them are really seeing a difference. She told me, that with each treatment, most people see a 2-4 inch loss and alot firmer skin!
Then we got to talking about how much I've lost so far, and that I ALREADY have lose skin! (I am almost 1/2 way to my goal weight!) She advised that If I decided to try a treatment, and that I should do one, every other month, until I reach my goal weight!!! I am still unsure about the whole thing. (Her spa is 300 miles from me, but locally, they charge 4 times what she is going to charge me, so its worth the drive, plus I can see my sister). She agreed that she would only charge me $50.00 for any amount of treatments I wanted to do! THIS is a great price for them, as I have done some research, and here locally they run $200.00+ per treatment.
Has anybody else ever tried a professional tummy firming treatment? Did it work for you?
I plan to completely document everything, and maybe get some good reviews on it!
Even though I still know that I will end up most likely needing a tummy tuck (and I already started a saving acct for it, as its NOT cheap!) But I figure for a couple hundred bucks, it couldn't hurt, right? and I will be helping out a long time family friend with her small town business.
Any advise is so more than welcome!!
Thanks,
Jess

When we are overweight we not only stretch out our skin but damage the muscles underneath... typically we require plastic surgery in order to correct issues in our stomach area.
Keep in mind that it takes time for your skin to bounce back... your weight loss will move much quicker. If you are thinking about having plastic surgery in the future I would take that $50 a treatment she would charge you and put it aside... I dont know which treatment she is offering but I could bet that its not FDA approved, I would also be concerned that it wasnt being performed in a medical office by a trained professional and a place with medical staff on hand. A lot of 'med spas' have people that took weekend classes and are set off to perform 'procedures' on people which can have life - altering side effects.... I would do your research/homework before even considering and check up on the facilities credentials. I would also fully research any side effects and decide if it is worth it... they say people spend more time researching car insurance then they do medical procedures.
