What are you meal plans like?
As 'younger folk' .. I know we all have different living situations. We are not all the moms with the kids, husband and full time days job..
some of us are in school, working those part time jobs, living with parents still, etc etc.
So how do your meal plans jive with your life?
For me. I work full time, school online college courses (which I do at work hehe). and its shift work. so i work nights, days, and afternoons. My fiance works days mon-fri (must be nice! lol)
I plan my meals, according to my schedual. I always make dinner, whether i'm working or not, and he gets what I don't eat (which is a lot obviously!) My lunches at work are usually tuna in a pita with veggies and other protien snacks. I make my meal plan for the week and grocery shop accordingly. I've just started doing this, but I like it. Its on the fridge so he knows what hes getting to eat, and if he doesn't like it, he can figure something out for himself! haha. It also helps me for when it comes to making the meal. I don't have to decide what to take out of the freezer. Its there, I take it out before work if i'm working days, or in the morning sometime on what ever shift and its there all ready for me to make.

I am a creature of routine, if I get off on my schedule I sort of freak out but it's not completely OCD or anything (yet!).
I do stay at home with my son and then I teach in the afternoon from 3:45-7pm. Mornings, I go exercise (except today, darn snow!) but I bring either a protein shake or bar with me as breakfast after I'm done. Lunch I usually have a salad with tuna or chicken or maybe part of a frozen dinner. Since I work during the afternoon/evening, it's easy for me just to make something that me and my husband and son can all eat...and its usually something from the crock pot. Like today, I'm doing a salsa pork with black beans. My hubby will pretty much eat anything and my son isn't too bad about being picky. I may or may not have a snack between lunch and supper because I don't eat until later and that might be some yogurt and granola or cheese and crackers.
It's really a good idea to always have a food plan and a back up plan, in my opinion. I tend to stray or even binge when thins aren't planned out, which is why I like my routine. It's finding what works for you that's they key, so it may be trial and error a while until you get it figured out.
Good luck!!
