so, im starting the two week pre-op diet tomorrow. i know the weight is going to come off really fast and that im going to need transition clothes. but the only thing is that we live pay check to pay check and i havent had new clothes in well....  prob a year.  i mean, i could go to good will but im only 22 and i have sorta vintage/trendy style. i was wondering if anyone had any clothes they cant wear anymore that they could donate to me or sell me to at a low price. anything would be sooo greatly appreciated.

What sizes would you need? I just had surgery 3weeks ago but have yet to try on many of my clothes. Where are you stationed?

Haha well there you said where you are located!  And you are 5 1/2 hrs from me!    We are stationed at Altus AFB in southern Oklahoma.  I wish I had some clothes for you since you are close by, girl.  I love corsets, too!

I wouldn't put Goodwill on the back burner.  95% of my wardrobe is goodwill purchased and updated with accessories.  Check em out :)

The more things the change, the more they're still the same.

i'm second'ing jaci's recommendation. only perhaps 30 percent of mine comes from goodwill, then there's another 20 percent from other thrift stores [developing a strategy for these places is key, and with a little thinking you can get insanely nice stuff at ridiculous prices] and also probably half of my stuff is from the closets of my friends and family members. anyone you know lost a bunch of weight/ gained a bunch/ ask them if they have any extra clothes. also, any oh support groups or anything local is great because you won't have shipping and handling and you can see the stuff and know what you want. it's an adventure, but with the right outlook it was definitely fun
