Hookah?

Anyone smoke hookah after WLS? I smoked hookah all the time before and was wondering if anyone had any issues after?

 Where I had surgery any form of Tobacco is an ABSOLUTE no after surgery! I would really recommend not doing it, but if you're going to I would definitely ask your surgeon first.

i used to smoke cigarettes before sugery and gave up like a month before hand.
it can cause ulcers in our pouchy pouch.
i still sometimes smoke the occasional cigarette when drinking, and my dad had rny 10 years ago and still smokes.

i would say the occasional smoke wouldnt be the worst thing you can do for yourself, but if its an everyday deal i would say no. it could really in the long run hurt your pouch.

i am 9 months out and i smoked hookah at like 8 months...just the one time...and i had no problems with it!
