hell yeah!!!! but ur gonna have to work hard to get there. i stop lossing around 9-10 months out. n i've bein losing a lil more but cuz i work hard to lose the few pounds that i still wanna lose. but anywyas u def can do it! just have to work on it! just remember that after the 1th year out. the real journey begings! good luck

Of course you can! After awhile our weight loss slows and we actually become just like everyone else trying to lose weight. It's hard and it may take a long time but if we stick to it, the weight will come off.
To chime in on what Mariana said, losing weight is actually the easy part...keeping it off is where it gets tough. But we can do it!

It took me 18 months to reach my goal - 7 months you are just a WLS baby... :P you have many months of weight loss opportunity ahead of you
First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
