I am trying to plan how much time i will need off of work. I work at a cable company where i do payments and take in and hand ouot cable boxes heaviest box being about 10lbs. The counter is just up to my shoulders so i would have to lift it above that. Any advice let me know!

I was back working 10 days after surgery. but i have a ofice work, i don´t think is good idea to lift anyanyboxes,  before 2 or 3 weeks after, ur gonna feel ok, but still a lil unconfortable. so take asmuch time off of work as possible u need to be rested to heal better
good luck!

I work as a nursing assistant-so i do a lot of lifting, pushing, pulling etc and I was out exactly 2 weeks per doctors instructions.

I'm a nursing assistant and took 2 weeks off from work since I am constantly lifting and turning patients. I felt fine when I went back just a little tired and sore. That should be enough time for u
I would think. good luck
