We've been there - in a few weeks, you'll be able to eat more 'normal' food and most of that will go away. anyway, good luck - it's all worth it!

the whole first week post op i regretted getting the band. the pain was agonizing, and so was the dang gas pressure! it hurt to move, cough, and especially deep breathe.  after the first week....when all that went away, i had no regrets.   you have to train yourself to realize what 'feeling full' feels like.  ur hunger might be a little psychological, i know mine was.  i thought i was hungry because i saw people eat.  after the first 2 weeks...u might be feeling hungry all the time, you just have to make it through until you get your first fill.  make your protein shakes a little thicker, that helped me to not feel as hungry.  be sure you follow the rules with drinking!!!   no liquids 30 minutes before, or 2 hours after your meal. it sounds crazy, but u'd be surprised how much this helps you.  just hang in there, and stay focused on the reason you did it all in the first place. ;)
