i don't know anything about going out of the country, but i got denied the first time and appealed it and got approved. and a friend of mine's mom got denied 3 times, found some lawyer for about 3 grand and got approved instantly.

but good luck with whatever happens! i know how it feels to get denied, just keep trying!

If you have insurance, I wouldn't worry about the fee - just find the best doctor. Besides, your insurance company is probably going to want you to have the surgery in the U.S.

Don't let them tell you no, because they love to do it. It's how they make all their money. Just keep fighting!

Personally I would never have surgery in Mexico. No offence to anyone who has done it, but it really scares me.I have heard way too many horror stories of people going down there and comming back with botched surgery. I just feel you can research a million times over and still may not get what you want/had hoped for. And that goes for anything anywhere. Not just surgery in Mexico. Another thing to think of is where are you going to do your follow up appointments? Ill be praying your insurance comes through for you. And if I were you I'd fight them and not let them deny you. Good luck!
