Hi, I'm New

Hi Everyone!!

I've been browsing the forums and found this one!  I'm 27 and it's nice to have a place for younger patients.

I'm pre-op for RNY, I'll be having my last pcp visit on the 22nd and then hopefully we'll be submitting all the documentation over the last six months to my insurance for approval. I've been considering and researching wls seriously for several years (since I was 21), and this summer I finally came to the place in my life when I felt ready.

Just wanted to introduce myself, I hope you're all having a great new year!

Hello and welcome! I just saw that you have Dr. Wilcox in Sewickly. I DO TOO!!! My date is February 1st.

I'm so excited for you!! It's great to "meet" someone with the same surgeon!! How are you doing? Are you nervous, anxious, thrilled, a bit of everything? I'm hoping to be approved at the end of the month (after my 6th PCP appointment) and hopefully have a date in the month of Feb.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!! I'm really happy that I'm doing this now, at this point in my life, rather than wasting any more time or when I'm trying to deal with other issues in my life. It's perfect timing.
