Need Some Help Please

I’m hoping some of you can relate to what I’ve been going through.  I had my surgery on October 19th and everything was great for about a week.  Then I started throwing up everything (water, protein shake, vitamins…) and I’ve been in and out of the hospital eight times since then due to dehydration and malnutrition.  My surgeon told me some people’s body’s have a hard time adjusting to their new stomachs and they throw up/dry heave and are sick for weeks until it suddenly goes away.  Unfortunately there isn’t anything that can be done to fix it.  Have any of you experienced this and if so, how long did it take for you to get over it?  I’ve lost over 60 pounds already but this definitely isn’t the way I want to be doing it.  Thanks for letting me vent.

well. i had mine 10 days before you. to be honest i've only ever thrown up twice. but i used to dry heave ALL the time, and even once in a while now I do it.  everything just takes time. and patience. just keeping trying, and everything WILL get better. and you've already lost a fantastic amount!

nicole, im sorry ur having a hard time.
if you cannot keep ur liquids  down. there is definidly something that is not quite right. i belive there is being enough time for your body to adjust already. at this stage u should be able to keep ur self hydrated. (im not a dr. or anything is just what i have learn and experienced)
it maybe be a obstruction or something like that. if you think. you know ur body n u  know if something is wrong. so if your surgeron is telling you ur ok. and u feel like your not.. ask a 2nd opinion this is serious thing, is your health.
good luck, n keep us posted.

hugs
mariana
