I'm feeling great and ive almost reached the 50 lb lost mark... words cant express how happy and in shock i am. People are complimenting me and despite not feeling any different , i am so thankful and lucky to have had this wls. I've lost 48 llbs so far .. only 2 more lbs until 50 lbs cant wait!! i wish everyone the best of luck in their wls journey and cant wait to see the scale under 200 one day!! I wish everyone a happy, prosperous and healthy new year!!
i do have one question.. does anyone know if we can eat sald? just wondering thanks!!

Congrats on your weight loss!
I eat salad all the time but for where you are at, be careful with raw veggies...chew them up really really well. Start with something soft like fresh spinach and then try out other textures. I still have issues with fresh broccoli no matter how well I chew. I also like to make my own dressing - white balsamic vinegar (or red, depending on your preference) whisked with a coarse ground mustard. Delish! You can also add some olive oil but even without it, it's still really good. You can add a pack of splenda or stevia if you like it sweet like honey mustard without the honey.

CONGRATS on the loss!! great numbers u should be VERY proud!
I would check with your surgeon about the salads. I know that my BIGGEST craving early on was for a nice salad and for sushi lol. The only problem is that my surgeon prohibited the consumption of ANY fruits of veggies or grains (unless it was in salsa or sauces****il we had lost 70% of our excess weight. He is super strict as far as protein goes so he makes sure that was our MAIN food source and then we got some carbs from things such as beans or nuts.
I tell u what...it made getting to 70 % a GREAT goal!
good luck
