do you plan out your day food wise?

i go back and forth, but this past week i did so bad. pms killed me eating wise. this was the first month in the past 8 since r n y, that i caught myself grazing and going for things like *gasp* cookies. i always always when i feel snacky go for proteiny snacks. i was so mad at myself for slipping.
its going to be the first and last time that happens. i dont want to be who i used to be. i didnt gain this tool to sugar myself to dealth...
anyways, so tomorrow i planned out my day, totally 81 grams of protein. i was told to just focus on protein and not so much calories since im not yet a year out.
what does everybody elses nut's say?

well i plan my meals most of the time sometimes on fitday.com but i was getting a lil obsesed with the calories n stuff so i stoped it! and i do it mentaly now that i know what i can have without passing my calorie limit. 1200-1500 a day. altho i do bad sometimes n i only eat 800. wich is not good btw. cuz im swiming like 2000 mts 5 days a week n runing / walking 2 days about 6 to 7 . n i should be getting more food these days.
oh yeah n i have some of my nut plan meals that i use some times. when im trying to lose some more weight which i do right now lol

I usually don't have the day planned out before hand but I do track my food either on fitday or sparkpeople.com I've gotten to the point now, like Mariana, where I can pretty much know how many calories I'm consuming. I stay between 1200-1500, though I eat more like 1000-1100 on most days (Thanksgiving excluded, oy).
My NUTS actually discourages too much of a plan because you can get obsessed. Plus, I don't like to live my life that structured anyway so if I can know by experience how much and what I'm getting, then I like that better. To me, it's living more like a normal person. My NUTS is more concerned about balance, which to me makes sense.
