Hi,

I've been on this site for awhile, but hardly ever use it.  I just had surgery a month ago, and am definitely looking for some supportive people to talk to! Thanks!

Well you found the right place, this forum is fantastic.  It is very active for starters and everyone is so helpful.  I joined the weekend before I had my surgery and it was so smart.  They have been here every step of the way and answered any questions that I have had.  Please send me a message anytime you feel like you need someone.  I definitely recommend starting to blog if you haven't.  When you have a bad day you can look back and see how far you have come and that you got over other bad days and have had so many great ones!!!!  Good luck!!!

Thank you everyone! It's just hard when people at home don't really understand what I am going through, and it's weird, but I'm so much more emotional now than I was before! I guess it's all the changes my body is going through.... but I know it will be worth it!

You are too cute. I know what you mean by no one understands. Sometimes I feel the same way. It's mental torture on us to not be able to eat food the way the rest of our country does. "Normal " people don't understand what kind of emotional attachment we all have to food. Most of us didn't either until we had to go without it. My hormones started to change recently and I was in ***** mode non-stop for about two weeks...My Fiance had to put me in check yesterday...Not physically, but I got an awesome lecture. FUN!
Anyway...join in...be active...there are no dumb questions here or dumb posts.
