Lap Band Complications

Is there anyone out there who had Lap Band and having any complications?  I am having Lap Band 01/05/2010 (I can't wait), and want to know of any complications that can head my way and how to prevent them. 

Hi, I had the realize band done 03-20-09 and so far have had no complications. One thing that is a possiblity for any bandster is a fliped port which requires additional surgery to fix.  Now this doesn't happen a lot and like I said I have had no complications, but its something to be aware of. There are other things that can happen like a leak in your band, getting stuck, sliming, foamies but those are fairly minor problems (besides the leak).There is a lap band forum and the people there are very helpful with answering questions, I recommend checking it out. Thanks... They told me of some of those things, but the percent of it actually happening is slim. I was just wondering of anyone actually dealing with any of those problems.  I def will keep my OH family posted on my surgery.  Thanks...
