my hair

ok, so i know its common for hair loss, but i know i have read of certain vitamins that people take for this..... any ideas?!?!

im taking 2 mg of biotin daily, using nutriox hair thinning shampoo/treatment, and i bought some serums for my scalp as well. i started using silica complex, a vitamin for hair/nails, and so far (its been 2 weeks) my hair loss seems less.

i also get 60-90 grams of protein daily, which is apparently the "root" to the hair loss. my doctor said i needed to keep up with protein so itll lessen the hair loss, but i think its inevitable considering im doing well with my protein.

ive been losing my hair since 3,5 months post op, and im only 5 months out now. i know itll last for a few months longer, and its horribly grueling... im getting extremely self-conscious and sad about it :(

but im keeping my fingers crossed for silica complex! id try it if i were you :)

 Biotin has helped me with hair loss.  I take 1 pill a day and you can get it at any place that sells vitamins.

hair loss is common, even if you do everything right. mine starts 3 months practically to the day after I have anestesia and lasts about 3-5 months. taking biotin is good for new hair growth, and zinc will help keep some of it [so my surgeon says] everyone else is right about the protein too. just hang in there though, the best thing is it's only temporary

I have just reached three months, taking my vitamins and protien, and it is starting to fall out. I am in a wedding next month and I have stopped washing my hair daily, and using so much product. I read some boards on others and they have said it has helped some. I also have found people our age have even went and got wigs. It is a chance to get the style you always wanted to try and play with your hair!

I went to a wig store the other day and it was hilarious and fun at the same time. I am going back this week to make a decision on what I am going to get.
