If anyone can help me that would be great...I am feeling lost and nervous that i am not on the right track. I had wls 22 days ago and i didnt lose a pound this week. I am nervous im eating too much or not doing something right. I am making sure i am havingenough protein and water. I feel like i shouldnt be drinking as much or eating as much as i can but i have had no symptoms of dumping after eating. I am able to eat two scrambled eggs at a time ( i make it with water so its not as thick). I am able to eat 5-7 low salt crackers at a time. I just feel like i am eating a lot more than wheni was on a liquid diet the first 2 weeks. But i know i am SIGNIFICANTLY eating a lot LESS than i use too. Am i crazy?

I meet with the nutritionist on tues and i will talk to her about that. But i dont want to stretch my pouch or anything like that. I have waited my entire life for this change and i dont want to screw it up early on. I could just be crazy but i just would love some guidance from someone who is farther along in wls than i am to direct me!

Thanks for the guidance and support in advance!

hey girl, try to relax i know is hard times and u just wanna drop weight like crazy, but  sometimes our bodies need time to catch up. i rember i was  a very slow loser, i lost about 23 lb the 1th couple of months and  one of my friends lost 30 the 1th one and we she was only 10 lb heavier than me. But at this time out i have lost the same amount of weight so don`t worry u will lose it. stalls and that kinda feelings that u are having now are very normal, ur not alone.

u have to understand that its ok to eat!!!!!. we need food to survive, remeber that u can barely eat. and the food that u eat u absorv like less than half of it. so please don`t stop eating and taking ur vitamins, watter and protein. if you think ur eating to much. messure ur food acoording of what  u supose to eat at the stage you are now. and don`t  take like 2 hrs to eat. eat what u can 20 mints no more and stop if u feel full, don`t forse  ur self to eat. or don`t for uself to not eat... lisen to your body ur gonna learn to do that.

and if u feel that somethings is not right. call ur nutritionist or ur surgeron. they are there to help u out with any concern u  may have.

and enjoy ur journey!!!!! is gonna be an awesome ride.
good luck!!!
hugs.

First of all most of us stall at the end of the first month! I didn't lose a single pound from week 3-5 but I lost almost 3 clothing sizes during those 2 or so weeks. Don't worry! Your body is just adjusting, you'll start to loose again soon! I will say though that 2 eggs does sound like a little much to me, but if that's what it takes to get you satisfied then eat it. Just remember: don't try to fit a much in your pouch as possible, just eat the minimum that you can to feel satisfied. As for saltines, I have no idea if that's normal or not because my program doesn't allow carbs so I haven't eaten anything akin to a saltine in more than 6 months! As for the drinking... YOU CANNOT DRINK TOO MUCH!!! Just keep drinking! Food is no where near as important as water and the other non caffeinated drinks that count for your fluid intake! Just keep up the good work and stay encouraged, the weight will start falling off again as soon as your body readjusts!

The week 3 stall seems to happen to almost everybody. It's one of the most common things I've read about at OH. If you're still doing the things you are supposed to, I wouldn't worry about the scale so closely. I also know how you feel about the amount you are eating. I've always been able to eat a bit more than most of the people that post at this website. But then I just think about how little it is compared to what I ate before.

I know everyone is gonna tell you not to worry, blah blah. How do I know? Because they told me the same thing, and I still worried. haha. However, really just do what you're supposed to, and it will come off. Stalls are GOING to happen. It's just part of the process. Your body is just saying, "Ok, what the hell just happend. I must shut down everything until I can figure out what is going on." All of a sudden it will figure out that everything is ok, and the pounds will start falling off. Then, it will probably once again stall for a bit. It's in shock...and for good reason. It is frustrating I know, but a year from now, you're going to be giving someone the same advice.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

It takes a few months before the nerves in your stomach heal so make sure you stick to portion guidelines - it was until I moved to solid foods that I could tell when I ate too much... took a while to find out when I was full/satisified - remember you are basically starting from scratch. You will also notice as time passes different foods sit differently in the pouch... you may be able to eat eggs like no tomorrow but a piece of toast and you feel like you are going to blow up.
You are perfectly fine :-) just focus on the guidelines and keep working on your eating and what not and you will be fine.
As for the weightloss it will come in time, there will be days/weeks you wont lose and that is perfectly normal.
