Am I overeating?
I went to my last check-up last week (surgery was July 6th, so 4 months post-op today!) and my dietitian said something that's been kinda concerning me. She says at this point I'm supposed to be eating about 3/4 of a cup of food and absolutely no more than a cup... When she said this I thought 'hmm, am I eating that much or way more?' ... so today I measured out both lunch and breakfast to 3/4 of a cup and I was still hungry after. Both meals consisted of proteins, fruits and veggies so I don't know. What do you guys think? I can't imagine having stretched out my pouch already at four months... !!!

hey girl. if u think ur over eating. make sure to keep messuring ur food! that would help. if u sit to eat for 2 hours u prolly gonna eat 3 cups lol. so make sure u take only 15 mitutes or 20 minuts to eat no more. this is gonna be great to educate ur self and be very helfull after ur honeymoon its over.!
good luck nikki!!

we are all so differant when it comes to the measurements of how much we eat. i am now 7 months out and now am just eating a little less then a cup, and thats only sometimes. every days differant, but i always make sure its never more then the cup.
at 4 months out i was eating wayyyy less, and i thought there was something wrong with me, but my nut said everybodys differant, just always make sure the protein is most important no matter what.
i highly doubt you "stretched" your pouch. maybe you shouuld call or email them your concern? or just add little bit more in considering she said up to a cup?
i dont know if ive been any help but good luck girl!

Also..take into consideration on how "dense" the food is that you're eating. For example, I get more full on 2oz of chicken rather than 3 oz of deli meat, etc. That's why slider foods are much easier to eat. However, your desciption of your meals seem within reason. Also, if I ever feel like my intake quanitity is getting a little high, I will cut out all the sides and stick with protein for a few meals. That usually gets me back in gear. Hope this helps.
