So I just met with the nutritionist tonight. She wants me to try some protein powders out to see which ones I like best so I know what I'm going to buy for after my surgery. She gave me a small list of popular ones. But I wanted to know which one you guys would recommend! Thanks!!

hey! i was buying the expensive isopure $40 for 2lbs from the doc! And then i found one at walmart and e-mailed the info to my nutirionist and she said that one is just as good!! And its a fraction of the price!!!!  It's called body fortress whey protein and its $15 for 2lbs and it comes in choc., van, and strawberry---all the flavors are good!  2scoops has 52g of protein!!

Just remember that your tastes will most likely change post-op so I wouldn't stock up on too many things. I am almost 14 months post-op and still some of my staples are Slim Fast Low Carb shakes (20g protein and 0g of sugar, I believe), Isopure Zero Carb RTD in Orange and Melon Punch (40g protein and 0g of sugar) and Muscle Milk Light Chocolate Milk (25g protein for 2 scoops). The Muscle Milk Light really does taste like you are drinking chocolate milk. I hope this helps some!

That's true about your tates changing I stocked up on lots of GNC WHEY protein before my surgery and now I can't even drink the chocolate one it makes me sick to my stomach.  So, definately don't buy too much.
