5 months post-op update/pictures!
not a day goes by i dont thank god for this surgery. major ups and downs, still to this day, but 100% worth it! i'm 84 lbs down, i eat healthier than i have ever before, i'm in a size 12 jeans (can't remember the last time i've ever been under a 14!) and i am magically not a lazy piece of crap like i used to be! it is awesome!
my hair is my only concern right now. i am shedding like a damn golden retriever (thats a weird analogy, whatever). its EVERYWHERE! but thank the lord my hair is thick... i'm not looking bald yet!

some befores:
soo long big ol' titties!
I went to my 3-month post-op appointment and i almost cried while thanking my doctor for finally letting giving me this opportunity, and finally breaking me out of my awkward fat-girl shell. He said I've been doing great with my vitamins, all of my blood work came back fine. It feels really, really good to be on the right track - nutritionally, emotionally, physically, and the praise from people is becoming more common... which is always really uplifting.
5 months FLEW - for everyone who is still under 2 months, it gets easier. every 2 weeks you'll see drastic changes, and it'll all be worth it. I'm only 5 months out and i feel f'ing amazing!

That's awesome! You're looking great! I definitely feel you on the hair! I've probably lost half of mine over the last 4-6 and its driving me insane! I just want my hair to stop falling out!!! But I would much rather loose a bunch of hair than have all that weight back! Hopefully our hair loss will stop sometime soon!
thanks love! the hair IS a huge f'ing issue! UGH!
but! i did go to sally's beauty supply store, bought this little "hair thinning" treatment kit - i think it has been working a little. its a shampoo/conditioner/leave in oil stuff. smells like peppermint, which kinda grosses me out, but i'm trying whatever i can. I think it's called nutriox... not too pricey either! you shoudl give it a shot!
