it has been 2 months since my surgery and i have lost 45 pounds,,..YAY!!

well since losing those 45 pounds i noticed that im more confident in my self and my new ( SMALLER ) body...
i have noticed that my sex life is SOOOOOOO much better..not only because im more comfortable in different postions but because im more comfortable in my own skin...

my fiance LOVES me regardless he doesnt care if im fat or skinny...he couldnt take his hands off me pre-op..so u can only imagine him now post op...

i would love to hear about your post op relationships and how it has effected ur love life...

sex before surgery was so uncomfortable for me because I didn't like being naked around anyone. Since surgery I have lost 100lbs and the majority of the time I don't mind being naked I just hate the extra skin! I much more comfortable with my bf now. We didn't start dating until after I had surgery so I can't compare our sex life with a before or after.

I don't know if it's hormonal or what but since surgery (or maybe it's unrelated, I don't know for sure) but I've really lost my drive.  It's horribly sad because I am more comfortable with my new self and I do enjoy sex but I just lack desire.  Hubby is very supportive and understands so it's not a big deal but I'm getting really sad about it because I don't know what to do.  I'm very attracted to my husband and I enjoy intimacy, so I don't know what gives.  Hopefully it's just a phase that will pass.

Sounds like everyone else is making up for it, so that's good!!

see im in the same boat, i have gotten to the point where i could really care less....if i get it i do if i dont i dont.  but my boyfriend is acting like the world is coming to an end, he isnt supportive of me not wanting to "do it" he seems to think its because im not attracted to him. which is not the case.

how can i explain this to him without sounding like an ass.

Last week I posted a comment that was quite the opposite of this post. I currently have no sex drive at all. It could be a combination of things like stressing about my upcoming surgery in a week, bills, not feeling comfortable in my own skin, etc...

I'm glad to hear that your sex life has improved with the weight loss. It gives me hope that hopefully mine will return back to normal, if not better, after I lose some weight. Congrats on the 45 pounds!

When you find someone who can look at you without caring - and when you can forget you have the skin because they treat you so normal you forget about it. Thats what it's about - and I'm happy I found that girl. It's not hard we always try'd different positions just to see what worked the best and we didn't have much trouble at all - and i mean the skin can get in the way - but it doesn't change anything because when you find that person who accepts you for who you are and loves you its all easy from there.

It ain't how you die it's how you breathe - it ain't what you take it's what you leave and conceive. What you got is nothing if your soul don't represent it -...present it, because it ain't where you from it's where you been kid.

Took my heart; froze that. Promised that if I opened it up it would
never close back.

The sex is awesome. I have always been the type a woman that likes to try this and that and now that I am alot smaller then I once was I can do pretty much anything! WOOHOOOO! (It's really hard being rough when you are really big, it takes too much energy!!!! LOL)

sex is definitely different!
i sometimes have trouble with it being a bit painful these days..guess its the lack of "cushion for the pushin" lol but just gotta find the right position i guess...
p.s. my sex drive is through the roof! but then again it was always quite "healthy" LOL

Since surgery my sex drive is through the roof. before surgery I could care less if I had sex. The only bad thing is my bf dosent live close but I told him when he moves back down here he better be prepared.
