No Surgery on Monday
I'm sure the surgeon has your best interests in mind. There is probably a reason why he won't operate and I'm sure it's to guarentee your health and safety. I know it's a bummer but try to look at it that way. I know you wouldn't want to go into surgery knowing that you weren't in the safest condition possible to make a full recovery with no complications.
That being said, just keeping exercising and logging your food. I use www.fitday.com and that has really helped me keep track of everything and been a good record keeper for when I slip up. I would say stick around 1,300-1,600 calories a day and you should see results. Exercise is really important too so aim for at least 30 minutes 5 or so days a week.
I know it's frustrating but like the previous poster said, if you lose the 5lbs, keep checking for cancellations. If nothing opens up, it's only a month and half more...you can do it!!
Good luck!

hi there:)
i'm sorry you have to wait for your surgery...but like emily said, it's prolly for the better anyways, i hear ya on the expenses though, i haven't had surgery yet and i'm dreading all the little things that are going to pop up. i have 3 kids that i don't want to take away from! please don't be sad, just think you DO have a date, it's just been postponed for now, that's all. it'll give you more time to practise the eating and exercising too while you wait :) take care!

SORRY TO HEAR THE NEWS..=(
DONT GET UR SELF DOWN UR DOING GREAT AND JUST KEEP GETTING THE WEIGHT OFF..ULL BE MUCH HEALTHIER IN DECEMBER WHEN U HAVE UR SURGERY AND THAT INCRERASES UR SUCCESS RATE BY 100%..SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND DEC. WILL BE HERE IN NO TIME..
NOTE: THEY WILL NOT OPERATE ON U BECAUSE THEY EXPECT U TO SHRINK UR LIVER ( it decreases ur chances to have a succesful suregy with out complications and it also helps the surgeon perfom lap.bypass rather than an open bypass)
I KNOW IT SUX BUT ITS FOR UR OWN BENEFIT..JUST HANG IN THERE..
