10% please help

I was wondering if you could tell me what you did to lose your 10% and if you had any advise or anything to share. I am in the begining and would like some help. Thank you, Janel

I go to see the Dietician on the 20th and I've actually gained weight.

welcome..congrats on ur decision to have WLS....YAYYY!!!

What i did was a 1200 calorie diet and exercised 5 days a week...

i lost 28 pounds in like 2 and a half month...

i hope this helps...youll do fine...

 All I can say is exercise! I think that was definitely what helped me the most, and I know that's what has helped me the most in the months since surgery. So I would say to just stay away from the bad carbs and to exercise as much as you can, even if that's only walk, it will still help! Congrats on choosing to have surgery!

Hello!

I just reached my 10% last week. It took me about 3 months but I have been on a 1200 calorie diet and cut out carbs and sugar...I've lost about 45lbs in 3 months.

 I did the slim fast shakes for breakfast and then ate sensibly the rest of the day.  I ate (and still do) eat regularly so I don't let myself get too starving, that's when I tend to binge.

Atkins low carb. I ate less than 20g per day and ended up losing 12 pounds in about 3 weeks. I did not worry about calories, fat, or anything else.
