For those of you that are curious-and not easily grossed out!!! I posted pictures of my Lower body lift this week. I had surgery 2 years ago and lost a total (from my highest) of 157 lbs.
I had a belt lipectomy/abdominoplasty/outer thigh lift with some lipo/butt lift. This is phase ONE. Phase two will come as soon as Im healed in a few months. Feel free to ask questions-Im home on bed rest for 3 weeks.

Im trying to start a savings. Thank you :)

I self paid for everything. My LBL was 11,000 for the surgeon and about 5,000 for the hospital and meds (i was in the hospital one night). My next surgery will be arms and boobs and thats about 13,000 because it is outpatient.

Thanks for sharing that with us! How bad was the pain? What are you able to do/how much are you supposed to rest? Do you know what the scarring will be like?

The pain is intense- i wont lie. But pain lasts only a moment and the results are forever! The best way to describe it is you feel really "tight." All of your nerves are deadened during surgery so in the weeks after you feel numbdness, with little shocks as your nerves re-grow themselves around the incision, I will be documenting my process in pics so keep checking my page for scar pics. The previous patients i saw had pretty thin scars so im trying for that! lol

Wow you look great!! Were you required to maintain goal before you were able to have the surgery done? If so for how long?

I researched and found that most ppl need to mantain thier weight for atleast 6 months and should wait until the 2-3 year mark to have surgery (its actually the best time because you are less likely to have regain too).  i have a friend who had her breasts done about 12 months after surgery and her skin continued stretching-major mess! I stopped losing at about 16 months out-and then crept down another 20 lbs for about 8 months. The doctor didnt consider that significant enough to wait.
