So excited!

I'm so excited that there is a forum for people who had wls in their 20's! I just had lapband surgery September 21, 2009.  It was a really tough decision for me because I am so young (20).  Wondering how everyone else is doing with their wls and what surgery they had.  Can't wait to meet some new people my age who are going through the same things!

I feel the exact same way that you do! I also had the lap band back in late Feb. I am 24, and don't know anyone (personally) who is going through what I am...I would love to make some friends on here as well! I think you will be very happy with the lap band. It is a slow steady process, and you make the choices that make it work. I have lost 48 lbs so far and have another 90 to go. Good luck! I would be happy to chat anytime with any questions you have.

and yes this forum is awesome and the girls are great! ur gonna love them!
congrats for ur surgery. and remember wls is a tool ur gonna need some hard work to make it work! but is gonna  worth it!!.
i had RNY20 months ago and i love it, im not gonna lie i thought it was gonna be esier to keep the weight off. but it takes a lot of hard work so. keep in mind that is a life style change.

Haaay! I had surgery 2 months ago. Down 50 pounds! I don't know anyone personally that has had it! So, its always nice to come here! Welcome.
