Snacking Monster
I am almost 6 months out and I cannot stop snacking. I throw so much **** down my pouch that I know I'm going to stop losing soon. Has anyone else gone though this? It is mostly crunchy things like chips.
I am craving salty crunchy things, does anyone have an suggestions for better things to snack on or how to get out of this snacking cycle?
Sweet things too because I can tolerate sugar it is like I cannot get enough of it. ugh
I sort of feel like a failure right now.

I'm so excited for it to be apple season, I love them..even though I can only eat about 1/2 chewed up very very well.
I agree, snacking is fine if you are conscience of what you are doing and know your limits. If you have problems with this, there is an OH group for binge eating that has helped me quite a bit.
I think part of the problem with me (and maybe others) is that when we think of the word snack, we automatically think of something that's more like a treat than just a food to keep us going. If we keep it in perspective and choose good, healthy foods like fruit/veggie, protein, etc. we will be fine. But if we think, oh snack! and head for the chips or candy, then it's not so good.
Good luck!
