Protein?!
So I'll admit I've been bad and haven't been getting my protein in. I just don't know what kind to get?! I know it's important so I'm trying to get on the band wagon but I just don't think I can do multiple shakes or bars or whatever. I've heard of bullets and stuff like that but idk, help! Thanks :)
Hi, if you are really having a protein problem the best thing is to TRY a protein rich food (meat, if you can stomach it, or the shakkes)
There are some really good ones. Now I'm pre-op, but I've been on the liquid diet for weeks now and they taste okay, and if you get a bland vanilla you can mix SOME fruits in with a blender thenyou can have a fruit shake and still get the protein you need.

I mix the IDS 100% pure whey protein bullets with 32 oz. of water which gives me 42 grams of protein and tastes like gatorade. :) You can get them at vitamin shop or gnc I think. I like the grape flavor. Ready made isopure is pretty good too, but I think I prefer my IDS bullets.
Other than that I eat half a chicken patty or some egg white salad from trader joes.. I found a bunch of crunchy snacks at diet direct that have 10 grams of protein per bag and taste great. I also like to eat some scrambled eggs (from eggbeaters/reddiegg, easier and less calories) in the morning with salt and a little low fat shredded cheese... mmm... Oh and Weigh****chers string cheese sticks are a MUST!
