PLEASE HELP ME!!

So before I started anything I called my insurance company and I was told that I didn't have an exclusion to my plan. But I got a letter today saying that the surgery is not covered under my insurance plan!! I am sooo mad, if I don't have any exclusions for gastric then how is it not covered under my plan? I have BCBS of AL....

Does your surgeon's office have an insurance person you can talk to?

You might want to post on the insurance board about this. There are some people on there who know lots about wls insurance issues. Specifically vicki b, she's amazing. Check it out girl, don't give up!

 After calling my insurance company today I was informed AGAIN that my plan does cover gastric. So I called the surgeons office this morning and she is going to call them again and verify. So now I am just waiting on her call....thanks again!
