any 20s WLS people in the Denver area?

Just trying to find some people who have gone threw this WLS journey close to my age and possibly in my area. Maybe we could meet up? I'm feeling like I need a little extra support from people who have gone threw this. The people who I know who have had WLS are 40s plus. its a little different for them.

I've lurked (sp?) around here quite a bit for the past few months. I've met some awesome people on here too. Just kind of at this point in my life for many reasons and one being WLS that I'm kind of looking for new friends to hang out with. Online friends are great too and I can defiantly use all the support I can get! 

Hi, welcome to the boards. (I havent seen you either)

I am in the Colorado Springs area, but I go back and forth to Denver since my operation was done there. I am still pretty early out (end of March 2009).

So there are others! There was another girl at one of my support meetings in Denver that was in her twenties,  but I don't know if she is on here or anything else about her. I haven't been able to go to a meeting in a couple months because I work on Wednesdays now and that is their meetings day.

DENVER in the house! lol... wow... Hey! Welcome to the board. I'm in the littleton/lakewood area and I am more than happy if you want to meet up, go out, whatever.  Add me as a friend!  I didn't have the band, I had RNY but the basics are the same.  Hope to hear from ya! =0)

I don't think it matters which WLS we have simular things changing thats what matters. I will add you both!

Not even in Colorado, but close, and I go to Denver often, we have lots of family there, that and I just like Denver..    Add, and we can talk,  I know what you mean, its good to have people to talk to , who understand
