OMG!!!! ONE MORE WEEK...

ONE MORE WEEK TILL SURGERY....
WELL NEXT WEDNESDAY....

SO IM OFFICAILLY SHI**ING BRICKS ....

IM SOOO NERVOUS IVE BEEN NICE AND CALM BUT NOW IM SCARED..I HAVE SO MANY EMOTIONS RUNNING THROUGH I DONT KNO HOW TO HANDLE THEM ALL...

I STARTED A LIQUID DIET TODAY AND IM STARVING ALREADY...

I FEEL WEAK AND I FEEL LIKE I CANT WORK LIKE THIS???

IM HAPPY IS GETTING SO CLOSE BUT IM SCARED OF THE RISKS AND COMPLICATIONS..I KNO THIS IS ALL NORMAL..BUT DAMN......THIS IS ALREADY BECOMING EMOTIONALLY HARD...

I JUST WANNA SAY THANKS FOR EVERYTHING...U GUYS ARE GREAT!!!!

girl i feel you!!! I was in your boat a couple of weeks ago... I was lucky I only had to be on liquids one day before surgery :( I cant imagine how you feel now... I wish you all the best of luck during your journey!!

I CANT KEEP MY MIND OFF OF FOOD..EVEN MORE NOW..LOL.AND ITS MY 1ST DAY...O GAWD..IM GONNA GO CRAZY...

WELL ATLEAST THIS KINDA PREPS ME FOR WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER SURGERY...AGGGHHHH.,,,

yay!!!!!! and girl this liquid diet is the hardest part and u know what ur soooo gonna make it!!! ones u are over with this everything its gonna be like a piece of cake! so hang in there.
and rember that the 1th couple of days in any kinda diet are the hardest u may feel headaches but u'll be fine in a few so smile!! ur date is almost here!!!

I'm right there with ya on the emotional rollercoaster! I go for my pre-op visit tomorrow to meet with the surgeon and stuff. I'll find out what time my surgery will be and everything else that I need to know pre-op wise. I don't think I have to do a liquid diet but I guess I'll find out for sure in the morning. Also have to have an IVC filter put in on Wednesday and have to be at the hospital at 4:45 am I might as well just not go to bed at that point since it's an hour drive. Oh well! This last week is either going to fly by or drag by!

I have surgery next Tuesday...I totally feel you...I made the mistake of visiting the complications forums, and I started to cancel...

You can and will make it through the liquid diet...it really prepares you for what's ahead!  It's normal to be full of emotions...if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Hang in there...you will be on the losers bench sooner than you think!

IM ON DAY 2 AND YESTERDAY WAS HORRIBLE..I FELT SOO WEAK AND TIRED AND TODAY IS GOING BY A LIL BETTER.. BUT MAN DOES THIS SUCK!!!

I GO FRIDAY TO MY PRE OP APPT AND I LL ALSO FIND OUT WHAT TIME MY SURGERY WILL BE..IM HOPING ITS  REALLY EARLY SO I CAN START RECOVERING AND GET HOME TO THE LOSERS BENCH..=)

hey!!! well, i will have to say that the first couple of days of the liquid diet were the hardest, but they do get easier.  I also found that it was hardest when i was home, so i would just try to keep my self occupied everyday so i wasnt home thinking about food.  I had my surgery yesterday and got home earlier today, and it still doesnt feel real.  I just keep thinking omg did i really have the surgery?!?!?!  So the time will fly by and keep your head up cuz it will get easier!  -tori
