Average daily meal anyone??
So Im less than one week til surgery and my mind can't stop thinking about what I will be able to eat 6 months to a year out from now? Can anyone please give me a heads up of what to expect. What about when my Husband and kids want to go to McDonalds in a year from now? What can I have in the menu?..I would be happy with a grilled chicken salad. But is that reasonable?..What kinds of salad dressing fo you guys use?. Im just trying to figure this all out in my head..Thanks guys..Dani
well at 1ths is really easy to make the rigth chooises 'cuz u don`t really feel like eating anything as the time starts to pass and u are able to eat and tolarate more kinda foods, that's when the real thing begings. and is really hard to stick to your meal plan and to keep ur excercise and stuff. is all about to know what you want and how u gonna get there. so i think its a lot of mental control and change ur habits. and for me its being like really hard but i kinda find the way to keep going.
I 've never stay home cuz i my friends were going to eat to mcdonalds or some restaurant there is always a heltier option lol. and yes you can have a grilled salad at mcdonalds or a chicken sandwich. what i do now is that i don`t even look at the menu i always ask for a grilled chicken salad with the dresing in a side dish. so i can control more the portions.
and i belve that the key is excercising. but becareful if u excercise a lot it doesnt mean that u can eat what ever you want! trust me i tryed that and i gain a couple of lbs lol.
but when u are a year out and hopefuly at goal, or near to be. is not gonna be the same as when you were like 100 lbs over weight , and you try to lose the weight and is imposible so u start eating allover again. now ur gonna look good and start to feel great so you will have enogh motivation to follow ur plan cuz u won`t want to gain all the weight back. well`thats the way i feel i'm so afraid to gain it all back so i watch my diet very careful now.

I think you put a realistic point to it. Im just having a minor freak out before surgery. Its like Im trying to scare myself out of it. Its not gonna happen though. I gonna do this and hopefully, with God on my side, Ill be laughing at myself a year from now thinking I was way too paranoid. Thank you for keeping my hope alive. Danielle
