I am just soooo impatient! I am in the process of waiting on the approval from my insurance company! I need to know what things I can do to make this time pass faster. I hate it! I want this surgery sooo bad. (just like everybody else)...

What did you do to make it fly??? That's if its even possible!

i know this might sound bad but during that time period i partied it up to be truthful. my surgeon made me quit drinking 3 weeks before surgery and i know i wont be able to drink for a while now and im only 21. so i had to get my last little bit of parting in before surg. i also went on a mini vacation to keep my mind off it all. hope you get approved and good luck w/ ur wls process.

I'm waiting for surgery.  Oct 6 is my date.  I have made a list of foods that I want to eat before my surgery.  This is my way of saying goodbye to those foods i won't be eating anymore after surgery.  this has been fun as I have about 10 different foods on my list and i am enjoying them one last time and crossing them off my list.  it's really helping to pass the time so far!!   i also am finding it quite theraputical.  Good luck with your approval, I'm sure it will all happen quicker than you think!

thats exactly how i was!!!   was soo impatient that i waited a  day to see if they had gotten the paper work. and then called a couple of days later called to check the status and she said it was approved.  In only four days!!! i know its sounds a little crazy but i was just sooo anxious just like you.  Also, while i waiting i konw i didnt wait long, but i also tried to get a few "last meals" in.  Good luck and i hope you get approved!!!!!

I stopped visiting OH so much and did a few "last meal"s at my favorite restaurants. I also read alot of books and planned a party, visited friends, etc. I finished a few projects as well that I needed to get done. I cleaned my room. I just did stuff to take my mind off of surgery for the most part.
