MEETING WITH SUREGON

Hey all-

I am meeting with my suregon for the first time next week!  I am super excited, but very nervous.  I think I will be doing this appointment alone.  I was wondering what are some good questions to go through with my surgeon?  What are things that I should be looking for in the surgeon??  Thanks for your help!!

I would just have him go over his statistics with you, his after-care program and what he expects of you afterwards. It's all about expectations. Does he want you in every month? Every surgeon is different. I would ask how long he expects you to be in the hospital. If you have ANY nervousness about any area of the surgery, bring it up to him. He'll appreciate that!
