I'm doing awesome!!! Down 103lbs. 7.5 months out, and feeling great. At this rate, I should be to goal in no time. Then, I can concentrate on getting my boobs fixed.
This weekend should be interesting. Today is my parents' 10th wedding anniversary. It's hard to believe they've been married so long. Seems like only yesterday I was asking my mom why she wanted to marry such a nerd. But it's the best thing that has ever happened to us. My stepdad is an amazing man.
I'm going to try and make myself scarce for the evening, as my mom and stepdad will want to celebrate together, and I don't want to be around for that (EWWW). Guess I'll find something to do.
Tomorrow, going to a concert at the Illinois State Fair with my mom. Heart and the Bangles. Should be an 80's induced fun evening. Lots of friends are going, so I'm sure we'll meet up with them and have a blast.
Sunday will be for relaxing, and then Monday starts the new semester. I can't believe summer flew by so quickly!!!

Sara, I'm so jealous of you that you get to see Heart and the Bangles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister and I are on an 70's/80's concert kick this summer, so far we've seen Survivor and Alice Cooper, FUN times.
This weekend I'm having a garage sale and getting rid of my old, big clothes!!! So far its going great and they are going to good homes. Got a sitter tonight so I get to go out with my big baby (versus my son, little baby :-) ) we are probably going to a movie or something...we'll see.
Hope you all have a great weekend!!

It has been forever...and a day! I miss seeing you on here, lady! I've been a bit of a stranger too, not posting much but I still lurk around.
I'm going to a friends bachelorette party in Boston tomorrow. We're going down early, shopping for a bit then getting dinner and going out on the town. I'm actually quite excited. The idea of shopping in Boston never used to be that great for me because I couldn't really find clothes that fit...but I can fit into a whole bunch of regular XLs now so I can actually look at and try on clothes at regular stores! I just wish I had some extra money to spend! Or maybe it's a good thing that I dont, because then I might go crazy and come back with a new wardrobe and no rent money!!
We're coming back on Sunday, I'll probably take a power nap and then a bunch of my work friends and I are going to see Inglorious Basterds. I'm excited for this weekend and I like knowing that, even though it's going to be busy and hot and not very relaxing, I will still have fun and won't feel horrible all day like I used to when I weighed an extra 75 LBs! I <3 my RNY.

I've pretty laid back weekend ahead.
Tonight, Jason (my husband) and I watched the 15 month old son of some friends to they could go have an evening to enjoy together. Tomorrow, I get to have a relax day while J finishes up some school work (he has three jobs and is in school full time... he's amazing!) for the term, and then we plan to go have an Arrested Development night with some friends. Um, awesome!
Sunday I have some leadership training (my church does something called Redemption Groups, basically focused on seeing how our lives fit into God's story and how He wants to deliver us from our own sin and the pain of suffering caused by sins against us, to redeem our lives for His glory. Powerful stuff!) in the afternoon, then church @5 and going out to dinner with our Community Group (we meet during the week to share a meal, talk about the sermon, and just live life out in community... love it!).
I love my life :) Sounds like y'all are having some good times, too!
