Hi!

I'm cruising the boards, looking for new ones to post in other than just the generic RNY board, and found this one.

What do you all like about this board?  What sets it apart from the surgery specific boards?

Who's Mariana?

Welcome!!!

In my opinion, this board is the most supportive by far.  There are very helpful people on the other boards but a lot people who can be short and down right mean with others and to me, that's not cool.  I guess on here we don't mind the same questions being asked multiple times or hearing about a bad day someone is having.  I think everyone's voice is heard very well and we try to be welcoming to everyone who pops in.   We just learn from each other, try to lift people up when their down and celebrate every victory together, no matter how small it seems.  

Mariana is one beautiful, smart senorita!  You'll run into her on this board if you stick around, which I hope you do!

Hello!!!  I am new on this board as well, and i find the people on here to be soooo friendly,  I totaly agree with Emily!  People here are very welcoming, and tend to have the same concerns, interests, problems, and challenges because we are all so young!!  good luck on you upcoming surgery!!

i like it here cuz we are all at the same page u know same age having same issues and feelings. all the girls and few boys here are great! and we talk about subjects that other forums don´t talk about. so is fun to be around here.
